Greetings,
Scott and Ingrid get deep into and ramble through a couple of your questions, which may answer other questions you may have had, or maybe just confuse you, but either way, hopefully it’s entertaining.
The theme of the week is freak, because the New Moon in Aquarius is all about flying your freak flag, being that independent individual that you need to be because there’s nobody who can be you, except you.
Mercury goes direct, which means continue to focus on clearing your plate, before taking on any new projects until February 6, when Mercury exits its retrograde shadow.
Check out the podcast through the link below...
The themes this week are…
1. Independence
2. Individuality
3. Responsibility
It is up to you.
When you take responsibility for yourself, you will attract others who will do the same.
From there you will find yourself in a group where everyone is taking responsibility for themselves.
At that point you are unstoppable.
Imagine, a group of people, all holding themselves accountable.
No backstabbing.
No finger pointing.
No whispers of worry.
Speak up. Speak out.
Encourage others to speak up and speak out.
They may sound different than you.
They may have a point of view which contrasts with yours.
Dissenting voices that hold themselves accountable encourage progress, because progress is never made when everyone is holding everybody, but themselves responsible for the problem.
Take responsibility for the problem together, and together you will find a solution, which will progress society into a future where everyone has greater independence.
With greater independence comes greater responsibility.
Are you willing to hold yourself accountable?
If you are curious how these, or any other transits are affecting you directly, I encourage you to reach out to me for a reading.
Wishing you all the best through the week, as you ride the planetary waves!

Mercury Direct in Capricorn
Alas, Mercury Retrograde has ended, however, Mercury will remain at 8° in Capricorn, where it has been since January 14, until January 21.
That’s a full week at one degree.
Mercury typically moves 1° to 2° a day when it is transiting at its normal pace.
The stagnation of the planet of communication, coordination, and consciousness, brings challenges in these three areas.
Therefore, slow down.
Take your time.
Refrain from rushing into new situations.
Think like an adult.
Speak like an adult.
Take responsibility for your words.
Only share the thoughts that assist you in ascending towards a higher position, perspective, or goal.

THURSDAY, January 19
The Moon in Sagittarius Sextile Saturn in Aquarius
On Monday and Tuesday the Moon in Scorpio aligned with Saturn in Aquarius.
Today and tomorrow the Moon realigns with Saturn in Aquarius, this time however the planet of emotions is in the Sign of Sagittarius.
Scorpio represents secrets.
Sagittarius represents honesty.
The frequency of these two Signs are vastly different.
Scorpio possesses a powerful stillness.
Sagittarius is a wild fire.
If you refrained from expressing your emotions to the group earlier in the week, you may find yourself expressing yourself with a blunt honesty that may feel like a foot in the mouth.
If you did express your emotions earlier in the week, you may now be experiencing the joy of what it feels like to be free from censorship, and accepted by those around you.

This period could be a challenging day for those born with key astrological points or planets in Virgo or Pisces.
FRIDAY, January 20
The Sun in Aquarius
Let’s get logical.
Aquarius is the Sign of individuality, innovation, independence, humanitarian causes, and progressive ideals that bring equality.
Aquarius is the Fixed Air Sign ruled by Saturn, the planet of restriction, and Uranus, the planet of rebellion.
You may be wondering, how could the planet of restriction and the planet of rebellion rule by the same Sign?
The answer to that question is in the symbol for the Sign, which is the Water Bearer.
You may also be wondering, why is the sign symbolized by the Water Bearer an Air Sign? Shouldn’t it be a Water Sign?
The reason the Water Bearer is an Air Sign, is because the Water Bearer breathes air.
The Crab, the Scorpion, and the Fish, the three symbols of the Water Signs, can all live in water.
Now back to our story…
The Water Bearer was that individual that lived a long, long, long, long, long, long, long time ago in a village so primitive that everyone in the village went down to the stream each and every day to drink water and bathe like an animal.
One night, sitting around the camp fire, the Water Bearer said to their fellow villagers, “I have an idea.”
The other villages all turned to listen, and the Water Bearer shared their idea, “I’m going to figure out how to bring water from the stream to the village.”
After a few moments of puzzled confusion, everyone sitting around the camp fire burst out in laughter, “ah-ha ha-ha-ha. That’s ridiculous!”
This was the Water Bearer exemplifying their rebellious Uranus, outside-the-box persona.
The jeers and laughter from the fellow villagers, did not deter the Water Bearer.
Soon after the Water Bearer harnessed the restrictive nature of Saturn, and took responsibility of committing to do the work required to bring their crazy idea into reality.
Many Moons later, the Water Bearer showed up in the village with a jug, full of water, and all of the villagers who laughed at the Water Bearer were instead exclaiming, “They’re a genius!”
It is important to note that the Water Bearer did not invent the jug for their own personal glory, they invented the jug for the benefit of the village. What the jug did for the village was allow for the villagers to be more independent, for now it only required a few to accomplish what once required everyone.
While the Sun is in Aquarius, embrace your individuality, your inner freak, and what makes you unique.
Bring your innovative ideas to the group, and do the work required to bring these innovations into reality regardless of how crazy others may deem you to be.
Invent for the benefit of all, for the purpose of progressing society into a future where we can all be a bit more independent.
Along the way connect with those within your community, or group context. Encourage them to embrace what makes them unique.
Offer help to further the innovative ideas of the humanitarian causes of others, and accept help from those who wish to assist you towards your goals, as well.
When: January 20 – February 18
This period could be a challenging day for those born with key astrological points or planets in Taurus or Scorpio.
SATURDAY, January 21
The New Moon in Aquarius
December 23, 2022 was the New Moon in Capricorn.
The New Moon in Capricorn was a time to set your intentions to commit to doing the work that is worth your time in order to accomplish your goals.
Capricorn signifies taking responsibility for what you want to accomplish for yourself.
Aquarius signifies taking responsibility for what you want to contribute to the group context.
The Four Cornerstones of Aquarius are…
1. Individuality
2. Independence
3. Innovation
4. Community
Set your intentions to embrace your individuality.
By doing so you are committing to being yourself, which is unique from everyone else.
The shadow side of Aquarius is where you walk, talk, and live your life like everyone else in the village.
Be different.
Be the unique individual you are meant to be, even if others in the group whisper behind your back, or call you a freak.
Set your intentions to be independent.
By doing so you will function on your own without the help of others.
By establishing and maintaining your independence you are not a drain on the community. You do not depend on them.
It is from this perspective that you can truly find yourself on equal footing, and from there you can receive help in a manner that reflects equality.
Set your intentions to be innovative.
By embracing your individuality and maintaining your independence.
In doing so, you will be in a better position to progress towards your innovative ideas.
This will help support those within the group to embrace their individuality, while also establish, or maintain their independence.
Set your intentions to engage in your community.
The strength of any group, club, or organization is rooted in the diversity of the group.
Bind your unique strengths together collectively for a common cause.
If everyone on a sports team plays the same position, the team will not be as strong as one that has a variety of players which has a uniquely appropriate individual for each position.
In progressing towards your innovative ideas, and independent community relationships keep the following dates in mind, as marker points for where you would like to be with regards to these themes…
February 5, 2023 – the Full Moon in Leo
August 1, 2023 – the Full Moon in Aquarius
February 9, 2024 – the New Moon in Aquarius
Where would you like to be, and what would you like to have accomplished by these dates?
If you are curious about how the New Moon in Aquarius, and the Full Moon in Leo will be affecting you specifically, enroll in my Moon Cycle Classes, which begin this week.
When: 12:54pm PST

SUNDAY, January 22
Mercury in Capricorn Trine the North Node Retrograde in Taurus
Due to the retrograde transit of Mercury and the slow moving mostly retrograde transit of the North Node, this is an alignment that has been lingering for well over a week.
As mentioned in last week’s forecast, the theme of this alignment is to align your ambitions with your values.
If what you are working towards is in alignment with your self-worth, and your values then you are on the right path.
If you find that you are working towards something that does not resonate with your values, or self-worth, it may be time to focus on working towards some new ambitions.
Do your goals reflect your values?
Are you valuing your time, by spending it on areas that honor your self-worth?
Are your senses enlivened by your work and ambitions?
When: January 10 – 25
This period could be a challenging day for those born with key astrological points or planets in Aries, Leo, Libra, or Aquarius.
°°°

Are you taking responsibility for your part in the partnership?
In what areas of your life would you like to broaden your love?
When: January 20 – 23
This period could be a challenging day for those born with key astrological points or planets in Taurus or Scorpio.
°°°
Uranus Direct in Taurus
Take a look at your astrological code. What is at or near to 14° - 18° in Earth, Water, or Fixed Signs?
Your sense of stability and security may feel like it is being rattled, or at the very least stimulated by the frequency of Uranus, for the last nine months.
If you were born with the Moon at, or near to 14° in an Earth, Water, or Fixed Sign, the stability of your home life, past, or the ones who raised, and nurtured you may feel a bit shaken.
If you were born with Venus at, or near to 14° in an Earth, Water, or Fixed Sign, the stability of your relationship energy may feel a bit shaken.
If you were born with Saturn at, or near to 14° in an Earth, Water, or Fixed Sign, the stability of your relationship towards authority may feel a bit shaken.
Whatever it is you are experiencing, if you are feeling unstable, go with the flow, rather than cling to the way things have always been.
Embrace any radicle, or unexpected shifts.
Your relationship to the material could be going through a shock. No matter how unsettling it may feel, the purpose of this is to spurn you towards material independence.
