#144 January 9-15: Mars Direct in Gemini! And a Whole Lotta Venus in Aquarius

Greetings,

At the precipice of Pluto just a few months away from dipping into Aquarius, Ingrid and Scott use the transits this week to highlight Venus’ transit through the Sign of the Water Bearer, and the importance of expressing your individuality.

Express yourself without fear of judgement. If someone expresses their individuality to you, Mars in Gemini is urging you to ask questions from a positive perspective.

Slow down.

Take your time, and trust that you will get to where you need to be at the appropriate time.

Check out the podcast through the link below...

The themes this week are…

1. Relationships

2. Individuality

3. Values

Venus, the planet of relationships, is highlighted four times this week, as it transits through Aquarius, the sign of individuality.

Uranus, the planet of individuality, and the planetary ruler of Aquarius, also makes an appearance this week, as it aligns with Venus, from the sign that Venus rules, Taurus.

The North Node transiting through Taurus, is also highlighted multiple times this week.

Taurus is the sign which represents values.

If you are curious how these, or any other transits are affecting you directly, I encourage you to reach out to me for a reading.

Wishing you all the best through the week, as you ride the planetary waves!

MONDAY, January 9

Venus in Aquarius Trine Mars in Gemini

Venus, the Goddess of Love and Mars, the God of War, align in a harmonious Trine, from two Air Signs, Aquarius, and Gemini.

Air is communicative, conversational, and curious.

More specifically, Gemini represents learning a little bit about a lot, and taking a positive approach towards gathering information.

Aquarius represents conversations within the community, sharing original, or inventive ideas in order to progress society into the future.

Mars in Gemini encourages conversation and questions, while Venus in Aquarius brings love to the group.

What unique ideas would you like to share within any group, club, organization, or social network you may be a part of?

What would you like to learn from your community?

What conversations would you like to initiate within the group context?

In what ways can you bring peace to the community, through courageously asking questions that others may fear to ask?

When: January 7 – 11

TUESDAY, January 10

Venus in Aquarius Square the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

As you cultivate your relationships within the community, you will be called to reflect on your self-worth, and values.

In what way do your values reflect your community, or the group context, which you are involved with?

Do the people you surround yourself with honor, reflect, or respect your values?

Do those you surround yourself with accept, or appreciate what makes you unique?

Are you appreciating the differences of those within your community, or what makes them different from you?

When you respect the self-worth of others, you create an invitation for them to respect you, as well.

When: January 9 - 12

WEDNESDAY, January 11

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries

The planet of communication, Mercury continues its retrograde transit through Capricorn, and realigns with Chiron in Aries for the second of three times within a short period.

Chiron signifies the wound, and the ancient wisdom which is unlocked through healing that wound. Transiting through Aries, Chiron is bringing up the wound to your self-confidence in expressing your authenticity.

Mercury’s transit through Capricorn is bringing a conscious awareness of how you perceive yourself as an authority, how to speak with an authority, or how to speak as an authority.

These two heavenly bodies last aligned on December 14, when Mercury was direct in Capricorn.

They will align for a third time in these two Signs on January 27.

Think of these three dates as marker points to reflect on your growth in healing your insecurities by learning to speak with greater confidence.

December 14

January 11

January 27

An authority is not necessarily someone who is standing on a hill pointing down on the rest of society.

An authority is simply someone who knows what they are talking about, and what they are doing.

In order to be in an authority, you must have a clear understanding of yourself.

How can you improve the way that you speak, and present yourself?

What are your greatest fears in speaking up for yourself with accountability?

What are you doing to face your fears with regards to speaking from a position of authority?

When: January 9 - 12

THURSDAY, January 12

Mars Direct in Gemini

Mars, the Planet of Action, entered its retrograde shadow on September 3, and has been retrograde since October 30. If you have felt like you have been climbing up a downward escalator since then, this is probably the reason why.

It has simply been a bit more difficult to get it done over these last few months, but just because the escalator is no longer moving down, that does not mean that it is now moving up.

Mars has been stuck at 8° in Gemini since January 1, and does not move forward to 9° until January 24. That’s 24 days with the planet of action at the same degree, which means forward movement may feel stagnant.

Continue moving in the direction you have set forth for yourself since September 3, and on October 30.

What is the status of your progress since these dates, and where would you like to be with regards to your direction by March 15?

Continue to focus on the themes of this transit as laid out in podcast episodes #125 and #133.

Be courageously curious.

Ask questions.

Gather information.

Actively listen.

Refrain from assuming that you have the answer. Learn how others think by maintaining a frequency of optimistic inquisitiveness.

When:

Retrograde Shadow: September 3, 2022 at 8°7’

Retrograde: October 30, 2022 at 25°36’

End of Retrograde: January 12, 2023 at 8°7’

Retrograde Shadow: March 15, 2023 at 25°36’

°°°

Venus in Aquarius Sextile Chiron in Aries

The planet of relationships, Venus, in the sign of individuality, aligns with the wound, and the ancient wisdom that is unlocked through healing that wound, Chiron, in the sign of courage.

What fears to you have in showing up in the group, authentically as yourself?

Are you willing to face your insecurities with courage, in order to be yourself?

What can you do to encourage others within the group context, or community to authentically express their individuality?

When: January 10 – 13

FRIDAY, January 13

The Sun in Capricorn Sextile Neptune in Pisces

What is the status of your dreams and the work that is required to bring your dreams into reality?

One of the themes of the week is individuality.

Part of following this frequency is in embracing what makes your dreams, your desires, your ambitions unique to you.

Recognizing and acknowledging the individual nature of who you are and what you want is the first step to making it yours.

Use the energy of these days to show yourself compassion for what you want.

Your desires matter.

Harness the faith necessary for you to believe that you are deserving of your ambitions.

When: January 11 – 15

°°°

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn Trine the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

Supporting the alignment of the Sun in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces is the alignment between Mercury retrograde in Capricorn and the North Node retrograde in Taurus.

Reflect upon what you want to achieve, and through this reflection take notice if your ambitions are in alignment with what you value.

Are the goals that you are ascending towards yours, or were they put there by an authority figure in your life?

Is what you are striving for in alignment with your self-worth?

Do your goals reflect your values?

When: January 10 – 25

SATURDAY, January 14

Venus in Aquarius Square Uranus Retrograde in Taurus

Venus is the planetary ruler of Taurus.

Uranus is the planetary ruler of Aquarius.

During these few days, these two heavenly bodies align with the other from the Signs that each of the other one rules.

It is like an inversion. There is something unusually stimulating about this alignment, because it is odd, or out of sorts.

Embrace what makes you weird.

As you accept your individuality you may find that your values could be different from those around you.

Both paths here lead to some discomfort.

Conforming to the group in spite of your individuality challenges your authenticity.

Establishing and maintaining your individuality in spite of the group, challenges the group, and potentially your status within the group.

Only the latter choice will most likely bring the eventual outcome you desire.

By being yourself, you may also discover that there are those within the group who will surprise you by honoring, reflecting, or respecting your individuality, weirdness, and values.

When: January 13 - 16

SUNDAY, January 15

The Moon in Scorpio Opposite the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

By embracing your individuality and risking your status within the group for the sake of your authenticity, you may discover those who reflect your vibe.

By being yourself you will attract those who are worth your energy.

The more authentic you are, the better your opportunity to align with those who honor your magic.

The more you align with those who honor your magic, the better position you put yourself in to receive the kind of magic that elevates you.

Open yourself up to be vulnerable with those who respect you.

Share secrets, sex, or money with those who are worthy of knowing the intimate inner working of your Soul.

When: 8pm (1/14) – 2am (1/15)
