There is a lot of shifting that occurs with the planets and stars this week, beginning with Venus transiting into Leo, where it opposes Pluto in Aquarius for the first time in 245 years.
Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn where it will be until January 20, 2024 and forms a Trine with Mercury in Taurus for the last time in 232 years, before Mercury transits into Gemini. Venus in Leo Opposite Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius
Venus is lady luck, the goddess of love and beauty, planet of relationships.
Pluto is the god of death, lord of the underworld, planet of transformation.
Symbolized by the Lion, the Fixed Fire Sign of Leo represents bold, confident sovereignty.
Symbolized by the Water Bearer, the Fixed Air Sign of Aquarius represents the group, the community and social cause.
As Venus begins its extended transit through Leo it forms an Opposition with Pluto, which can be a challenging aspect.
Venus is in Fire.
Pluto is in Air.
Fire and Air complement each other, but since they are both in Fixed Signs they oppose one another, hence the challenge.
The challenge invites a transformation to your relationships. These transformations can be difficult, but if you are centering on the desires of your heart, then the challenges you may be facing will feel worthy in their difficulty.
This is the first time since June 27, 1778 that Venus in Leo has opposed Pluto in Aquarius. Therefore, think of this as a generational opportunity to transform the expression of your heart within the community.
In what ways does the expression of your heart reflect your values?

These are questions to ponder as you set forth towards this new frequency that will be annually felt over the next 20-years as Pluto transits through Aquarius.

The transit of Venus through Leo is much longer than normal due to the impending retrograde transit. Typically Venus spends about a month in any given Sign. Venus will spend four months in Leo.
