#166 June 12 - 18: The New Moon in Gemini and Saturn Retrograde in Pisces

Greetings,

Scott shares about his big weekend at the Pacific Graduate Institute where his beloved, Gabriella, graduated with her Master’s Degree, while unfortunately Ingrid shares some sad news about a hit and run in her neighborhood and her mom breaking her arm.

This week the New Moon in Gemini raises our conscious awareness to ask questions, be better listeners, communicators and connectors.

Saturn in Pisces begins its retrograde transit, while the Moon, Sun, and Mercury in Gemini align with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces pushing us to ask questions compassionately in order to get the facts to validate our intuition.

Check out the podcast through the link below...

The Weekly Transit Astrology Podcast

The themes this week are…

1. Communication

2. Compassion

3. Values

The highlight of the week is the New Moon in Gemini. We also highlight the Sun in Gemini on Monday and Sunday, and Mercury in Gemini, the Sign it rules on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The main theme of Gemini is Communication, which is why it is our top theme of the week. Remember that the key to great communication is a willingness to listen.

Compassion comes into play with the Sign of Pisces, which is highlighted on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday with alignments involving Saturn, which begins its retrograde transit this week, and Neptune, the planetary ruler of Pisces.

Gemini and Pisces tend to create friction with each other as both are Mutable, but in conflicting Elements, Air for Gemini, and Water for Pisces. Be aware of possible confusion and illusion. Show compassion and focus on the facts.

Values come into play with the Moon’s transit through Taurus, as well as the North Node. The Earth energy of Taurus will hopefully help broker some peace amidst the Gemini and Pisces friction. Ground into your reality through honing in on your values, meaning that which is important to you.

If you are curious how these, or any other transits are affecting you directly, I encourage you to reach out to me for a reading.

Wishing you all the best through the week, as you ride the planetary waves!

MONDAY, June 12

The Moon in Capricorn Trine the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

The Sun in Gemini Sextile the Moon in Aries

The Sun is the giver of light, life and vitality wherever it goes.

The Moon represents the emotions, the roots, those who nurtured you, and the home.

Symbolized by the Twins, the Mutable Air sign of Gemini represents consciousness, communication, coordination and connectivity.

Symbolized by the Ram, the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries represents action, courage, and leadership.

Together, the Sun and Moon form a Sextile, which is harmonious. The alignment is harmonious because it is between two heavenly bodies that connect through two Elements that are different, but complementary, such as Air and Fire. Air fuels Fire while Fire raises the Air.

What have you been fearful to question, fearful to ask?

Who have you been afraid of, but wanting to connect to?

How can you be a more courageous listener?

What conversations have you been insecure about having?

As the Sun shines its vital light in Gemini, there is a path to embrace your curiosity, to ask questions, to listen, and learn a little bit about a lot.

When the Moon transits through Aries there is a powerful push to authentically express your emotions.

Together, this Air and Fire combination supports you in authentically expressing your curiosity, and to courageously listen to the response.

Open yourself up.

Start a conversation.

Invite.

Connect.

Communicate.

Share ideas.

When: 5pm – 11pm PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces.

TUESDAY, June 13

The Sun Conjunct Uranus in Taurus and Mercury Retrograde Sextile Saturn in Pisces

The Moon Conjunct the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

The Moon represents the emotions, the roots, those who nurtured you, and the home.

The North Node is the karmic pathway of the Soul or Soul’s purpose.

Symbolized by the Bull, the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus represents all material matters, including art, culture, food, and finance.

Together, the Moon and the North Node form a Conjunction which is a powerful aspect where two heavenly bodies arrive at the same degree in the same sign.

What do you value?

What is the status of your self-worth?

How does respecting your values honor your self-worth?

How does honoring your values satisfy your emotions?

When the Moon transits through Taurus there is an opportunity to connect to what you value on an emotional level and to share those values with others.

The North Node in Taurus is directing the attention of your Soul towards your values and self-worth.

If you are unsure about what you value, ground into the five physical senses.

What looks good?

What sounds good?

What smells good?

What feels good?

What tastes good?

Once you recognize what is important to you, you will know what to secure, and from there you will feel grounded and safe.

When: 2pm – 8pm PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Leo and Aquarius.

WEDNESDAY, June 14

Venus in Cancer Sextile the North Node Retrograde in Taurus and Mercury Retrograde Sextile Saturn in Pisces

The Moon in Taurus Sextile Saturn in Pisces

The Moon represents the emotions, the roots, those who nurtured you, and the home.

Saturn is the god of wealth and time, planet of authority, restriction and mastery.

Symbolized by the Bull, the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus represents all material matters, including art, culture, food, and finance.

Symbolized by the Fish, the Mutable Water sign of Pisces represents intuition, compassion, dreams and the unconscious.

Together, the Moon and Saturn form a Sextile, which is harmonious. The alignment is harmonious because it is between two heavenly bodies that connect through two Elements that are different, but complementary, such as Earth and Water. Earth gives Water form while Water nurtures the Earth.

Shortly after the Moon forms a conjunction with the North Node it aligns in a Sextile with Saturn in Pisces.

Saturn’s transit through Pisces is challenging you to do the work required to trust your intuition, show yourself compassion, have empathy for others, and faith that everything you are experiencing is in your highest good and the highest good of those around you.

Bringing the Moon in Taurus into that mix is influencing your intuition with your values. The more you are clear on what you value, the easier it will be to trust your intuition.

The more clear you are on what you value, whether it be a feeling, or something specific, the more you will be able to manifest your desires through following your intuition.

The caveat is that the path to what you want may not always follow the direction you desire, so when it feels like you’re veering off course, have faith that you are being divinely guided. Any disruption you are experiencing is the experience necessary to get you to where you need to be.

When: 9pm (6/13) – 3am (6/14) PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

THURSDAY, June 15

The Moon in Aquarius Square the North Node Retrograde in Taurus and Mercury Retrograde Sextile Saturn in Pisces

Mercury in Gemini Square Saturn in Pisces

Mercury is the messenger of the gods, guide of souls to the underworld, the planet of consciousness and communication, and the planetary ruler of Gemini.

Saturn is the god of wealth and time, planet of authority, restriction and mastery.

Symbolized by the Twins, and ruled by Mercury, the Mutable Air sign of Gemini represents consciousness, communication, coordination and connectivity.

Symbolized by the Fish, the Mutable Water sign of Pisces represents intuition, compassion, dreams and the unconscious.

Together, Mercury and Saturn form a Square, which is a stressful aspect. The alignment is stressful because they are each in Mutable Signs with conflicting Elements. Air and Water do not mix.

You opened up the conversation at the top of the week, when the Sun in Gemini aligned with the Moon in Aries.

You grounded into your values on Tuesday and Wednesday with the Moon in Taurus.

Today, as Mercury squares off with Saturn, the conflicts could ensue.

What’s important to understand is why these conflicts are occurring.

The conflicts are occurring due to confusion, a misunderstanding, leaning into assumptions rather than facts.

These are the moments when despite the fact that you’ve trusted your intuition, the outcome has not been what you had hoped it would be.

How can you back up your intuition with facts?

What questions can you ask the authority to receive clarity?

What can you do to better articulate your idealizations or dreams?

How can you compassionately communicate your curiosities?

Slow down.

Cut through the clouds.

Seek clarity through the facts.

When: June 14 - 16

SATURDAY, June 17

The Moon in Pisces Sextile the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

The New Moon in Gemini

The Sun is the giver of light, life and vitality wherever it goes.

The Moon represents the emotions, the roots, those who nurtured you, and the home.

Symbolized by the Twins, the Mutable Air sign of Gemini represents consciousness, communication, coordination and connectivity.

Together, the Sun and Moon form a Conjunction which is a powerful aspect where two heavenly bodies arrive at the same degree in the same sign. Whenever this occurs with the Sun and Moon, it is referred to as a New Moon, which begins as the Moon moves past the Sun, initiating a new cycle for the Moon.

Since the beginning of the astrological new year, we’ve had two New Moons in Aries and one New Moon in Taurus.

Aries defines who you are.

Taurus defines your value.

Gemini defines what you need to ask.

The four cornerstones of Gemini are…

1. Connecting

2. Questioning

3. Listening

4. Learning

Set your intentions to connect with others, and to then question, listen, and learn from their ideas.

Who would you like to connect with?

What would you like to ask them?

Are you willing to listen to what they have to say?

How can you learn from their knowledge?

How can you bring greater clarity to the conversation?

You know who you are.

You know what you value.

When you learn about others and what they value, you can be a conduit that connects those individuals together based on their values. Through those connections you bring greater cohesion and clarity to the conversation.

When: 9:38pm PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Virgo and Pisces.

°°°

Mercury in Gemini Sextile Venus in Leo

Mercury is the messenger of the gods, guide of souls to the underworld, the planet of consciousness and communication, and the planetary ruler of Gemini.

Venus is lady luck, the goddess of love and beauty, planet of relationships.

Symbolized by the Twins, and ruled by Mercury, the Mutable Air sign of Gemini represents consciousness, communication, coordination and connectivity.

Symbolized by the Lion, the Fixed Fire sign of Leo represents bold, confident sovereignty.

Together, Mercury and Venus form a Sextile, which is harmonious. The alignment is harmonious because it is between two heavenly bodies that connect through two Elements that are different, but complementary, such as Air and Fire. Air fuels Fire while Fire raises the Air.

Mercury is transiting through the Sign that rules the mind.

Venus is transiting through the Sign that rules the heart.

Mercury is the planet that rules the mind.

Venus is the planet that rules relationships.

How can you open your heart in your relationships?

How can you open your mind in your relationships?

How can you connect your heart to your mind in your relationships?

The key to a successful relationship is one where two people have the ability to communicate with each other from their hearts. Use this energy to do this for yourself and the ones you love.

When: June 15 - 19

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces.

°°°

Saturn Retrograde in Pisces

Saturn is the god of wealth and time, planet of authority, restriction and mastery.

Symbolized by the Fish, the Mutable Water sign of Pisces represents intuition, compassion, dreams and the unconscious.

The planets are like a symphony. Some planets like some instruments play the melody, others keep the rhythm.

Saturn is a planet that keeps the rhythm. It takes Saturn nearly 30-years to transit through each Sign of the zodiac, which means it moves much slow than planets like the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars, which play the melody.

Saturn will be transiting through Pisces for the most part until February of 2026. We are the beginning of this transit and have just completed the first stretch.

Saturn has reached 7° in Pisces and will now turn back and retrograde to 0°.

This transit is giving you an opportunity to reflect upon everything you have learned since Saturn began its transit through Pisces on March 7, 2023.

We are still learning from this frequency. Hopefully, by the time we get to February of 2026, we are masters of this frequency.

For now, think about where you were on March 7, 2023 compared to where you are now.

What have you learned?

Have you committed to doing the work required to trust your intuition, show yourself compassion, be empathetic to others, and have faith?

Are you doing the work required to delve into your unconscious, face your demons?

Your demons are those voices that exist inside of you that carry your psychological baggage, the guilt, the shame, the regret, and the blame.

What can you do to face these parts of yourself with compassion, so you can integrate these thought patterns and memories with understanding, forgiveness, and love for yourself, and the ones who have influenced your inner world?

Delve deep and do the work to deliver yourself to inner peace as you step towards becoming the authority of your own mind.

When: Saturn enters its Retrograde Shadow in Pisces 0°30’ on March 11, 2023

Saturn Retrograde in Pisces 7°12’ on June 17

Saturn Direct in Pisces 0°30’ on November 4

Saturn exits its Retrograde Shadow in Pisces 7°12’ on February 7, 2024

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets at 0° - 7° Gemini and Sagittarius.

SUNDAY, June 18

Mercury Direct in Taurus

The Sun in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces

The Sun is the giver of light, life and vitality wherever it goes.

Neptune is the god of freshwater and the sea, the planet of illusion, fantasy, faith, and the planetary ruler of Pisces.

Symbolized by the Twins, the Mutable Air sign of Gemini represents consciousness, communication, coordination and connectivity.

Symbolized by the Fish, the Mutable Water sign of Pisces represents intuition, compassion, dreams, the unconscious, and ruled by Neptune.

Together, the Moon and Neptune form a Square, which is a stressful aspect. The alignment is stressful because they are each in Mutable Signs with conflicting Elements. Air and Water do not mix.

Just as the alignment on Thursday between Mercury in Gemini Squaring Saturn in Pisces, today’s alignment plays the same song with two different instruments.

The Song is Gemini and Pisces, which tells the story of how someone trusted their intuition, ignored the fact, and got lost in the process.

On Thursday this song was played by Mercury and Saturn. Today it is played by the Sun and Neptune.

Thursday, the planetary ruler of Gemini, Mercury, was involved, today the planetary ruler of Pisces, Neptune is involved.

What that means if you find yourself confused in conversation, if your thoughts aren’t adding up to reality, slow down.

Give yourself time to articulate your response.

Question your reality.

Imagine what the other side is thinking, and then ask them in order to determine whether or not your intuition is aligned with what they have to share.

Through it all, speak from a place of compassion. Recognize the effect your words have on the psyche of others.

When: June 17 - 19

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
