#159 April 24 - 30: Healing Past Insecurities with Compassion.

Greetings,

Ingrid shares a bit about some heavy news she received this week.

Scott answers a series of questions from our listeners.

This week the planetary and astral energy is guiding you to delve into your past to care for yourself courageously, in order to uncover the roots of your psychological baggage.

The more you can show yourself compassion and kindness, the greater your courage will be to face your insecurities.

From there you will find greater appreciation of your values, elevating your self-worth.

Check out the podcast through the link below...

The themes this week are…

1. Compassion

2. Courage

3. Values

The themes of the week this week, reflect the themes of the week, last week. The reason being, we’re looking at many of the same players.

Saturn in Pisces pushes the theme of compassion.

The Sun, Uranus, and the North Node in Taurus highlight the theme of values.

Chiron in Aries, Mars in Cancer, and the Moon in Leo all bring their own nuance of courage.

At the root of it all is a push for you to face your fears, your shadow, and insecurities.

Through this process, make the radically different choices you need to make in order to build the personal security that values your self-worth at the highest level.

If you are curious how these, or any other transits are affecting you directly, I encourage you to reach out to me for a reading.

Wishing you all the best through the week, as you ride the planetary waves!

MONDAY, April 24

The Sun in Taurus Sextile Saturn in Pisces

The Moon in Cancer Sextile the Sun in Taurus

The Moon in Cancer Trine Saturn in Pisces

The Moon in Cancer Sextile the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

Saturn in Pisces Sextile the North Node Retrograde in Taurus

In last week’s post #158 we highlighted, for seven straight days, the alignment between Saturn in Pisces and the North Node in Taurus.

Today this alignment is further illuminated by the light and vitality of the Sun, which joins the North Node in Taurus, and by the emotional sensitivity of the Moon, transiting through the Sign it rules, Cancer.

Saturn is the god of wealth and time, the planet of restriction, responsibility, hard work, achievement, and authority. Pisces is the Mutable Water Sign symbolized by the Fish.

The North Node is the karmic pathway of the Soul, or Soul’s Purpose. The Sun is the planet of light, life and vitality. Taurus is the Fixed Earth Sign symbolized by the Bull.

The Moon is the planet of emotions. Cancer is the Cardinal Water Sign symbolized by the Crab, and ruled by the Moon.

Together, these four pieces on the astrological board game converge at the same degree, 4°.

What key astrological points or planets do you have at 4°?

When two key points or planets align with each other for an extended period of time as Saturn and the North Node have, it can feel like an undertone. When the Sun and Moon get involved that undertone is elevated.

The astrological tones being played here are…

1. The Unconscious

2. Self-worth

3. The Past

Saturn is urging you to commit to doing the work required to delve into your unconscious, face your psychological baggage, the guilt, the shame, the regret, the blame. It is through this process of facing these uncomfortable areas that you are then being pushed to continue to trust your intuition.

It may be difficult to trust your intuition if you are experiencing guilt, shame, regret, or blame for where your intuition has perhaps guided you in the past.

Therefore, the work here is to show yourself compassion.

If there are others involved with regards to the guilt, shame, regret, or blame, you may need to work at showing them empathy.

Through it all, the underlying work is to have faith, so you can integrate these negative thought patterns and memories with understanding, forgiveness, and love for yourself.

The Sun and North Node in Taurus are pushing you to set the foundation of your values, which are built on the foundation of your self-worth.

If you are blaming yourself, feeling shame, regret, or guilt, your self-worth may be low. You may not feel you deserve anything that is of value. This again is why committing to adhering to the energy of Saturn, to find forgiveness for yourself is key in solidifying your self-worth.

The Moon in Cancer is creating a sensitivity to the emotions rooted in your past. The opportunity here is to take a look at the origins of your feelings of guilt, shame, regret, or blame with kindness and caring.

Nurture yourself with an understanding that life is a process.

Life is a practice.

You may make a mistake, you do something you regret, and from that mistake you are feeling guilt, shame, or blame.

The reality though is, from that very mistake, you are put in a position to learn, grow, and evolve as a human being.

The key to navigating this multi-planetary alignment is to delve into your unconscious, show yourself compassion, be kind, and caring to your younger self, so you can honor your self-worth, and manifest the dreams you desire for your future reality.

Venus is lady luck, the goddess of love and beauty, the planet of relationships. Gemini is the Mutable Air Sign symbolized by the Twins.

Chiron is the wound, and the ancient wisdom that is unlocked through healing that wound. Aries is the Cardinal Fire Sign symbolized by the Ram.

What insecurities are you feeling in your close, personal relationships?

What are your greatest relationship fears?

Is there anything you would like to learn from a partner, or about relationships, that you also have fears of knowing?

What questions would you like to ask a friend, lover, or business partner, but are afraid to ask?

Now is the time to connect, have the conversation, and take a positive, courageous approach to learning something new.

When: April 23 - 26

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces

WEDNESDAY, April 26

The Moon in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus

As the Moon continues transit through the Sign it rules, Cancer, it aligns with Uranus.

Uranus is the primordial sky god, the planet of revolution, rebellion, innovation, independence, and the unexpected.

Uranus in Taurus has been shaking up your material stability since it arrived in March of 2019. Everything in your material reality may seem completely off kilter from where it was prior to 2019.

The alignment with the Moon gives you a monthly opportunity to reframe your values.

Release the values you picked up in your past, your childhood, or through your ancestry that is no longer serving you. Perhaps these are values based in lack, rather than in abundance.

Nurture your younger self through the experiences you had that created the fear in the first place. Release any insecurities you have regarding the material realm.

When: 9pm (4/25) – 3am (4/26) PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius.

THURSDAY, April 27

The Moon in Leo Square the Sun in Taurus

The Sun squares off with the Moon, when it aligns from Taurus, and the Moon aligns from Leo.

Taurus is Fixed Earth.

Leo is Fixed Fire.

Both Fixed, that makes a strong 90° aspect.

Earth extinguishes Fire.

Fire scorches Earth.

That brings tension.

When you look into the sky and see the Moon it will be split in half, one side light, one side in shadow, representing the conflict between the two halves.

Can face the shadow within your heart when it comes to your self-worth, your values, and your relationship to the material?

Sometimes the heart wants more than reality can provide.

Sometimes reality is restricting the heart.

How can you open your heart in order to receive what you desire in your reality?

What bold choice can you make to bring vitality to your material well-being?

Face your fears.

Face your shadow.

The more you run from your shadow, the bigger the shadow grows.

Shine your light within the darkness.

When: 11am – 5pm PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

°°°

Mars in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries

Mars, the god of war, the planet of action, aggression and conflict, squares off with Chiron in Aries, the Sign that Mars rules, from Cancer.

As you continue to work with facing your shadow this week, this may be the most important alignment to support you along the way. Though it will be challenging, facing your past, and the roots of your greatest fears.

What are you hiding from within your past?

What are your greatest fears and where do they stem from, is it a past experience, a childhood, or ancestral trauma?

Do you have the courage to nurture yourself through the pain you experienced, so you can unlock the ancient wisdom that exists within you?

Face the shadows haunting you from your past, your insecurities, and fears, in order to push past the barriers that have been blocking you from where you want to be.

When: April 25 – 29

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

FRIDAY, April 28

The Moon in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus

Yesterday the Moon in Leo squared off with the Sun in Taurus, today it squares off with Uranus in Taurus.

The Moon aligned with Uranus on Wednesday when it was transiting through Cancer, now it aligns again as it transits through Leo.

When the Moon aligned with Uranus in Cancer it allowed for a kinder, more caring look at the past.

This time however, it will be a harsher look into your heart.

What are the motivations of your heart?

Is your heart filled with joy, or fear?

Are you willing to take a revolutionary look at your heart?

Allow yourself to be shaken to your core, and as a result, make a decision that is radically different from what your heart would have chosen to do before.

When: 9am – 3pm PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

SATURDAY, April 29

Mars in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus

Assisting you making radically different choices is the alignment between Mars and Uranus.

What choices from your past would you do differently today?

Do you have the courage to go after what you are worth?

Every experience you are having right now is in some way a variable of your past experiences. Whatever trauma you experienced in your past has created the program, or habit that has caused you to repeat those experiences over, and over again.

During these days, when you find yourself in a circumstance that is similar to circumstances from your past, choose differently.

Rewrite the old program with the way you want things to be today. Have the courage to do today, what you were afraid to do all those years ago.

When: April 27 – May 1

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius.

SUNDAY, April 30

The Moon in Virgo Opposite Saturn in Pisces

We highlighted Saturn and the Moon at the beginning of the week, and as we close the week, we highlight Saturn and the Moon again.

The difference is, this time, the Moon is in Virgo Opposite Saturn, whereas on Monday, the Moon was Trine Saturn from Cancer.

Virgo is the Mutable Earth Sign symbolized by the Virgin.

Pisces is the Mutable Water Sign symbolized by the Fish.

The two Signs oppose each other. Both of these Signs represent the mind, but in opposite ways.

Virgo represents the conscious mind.

Pisces represents the unconscious mind.

Saturn is pushing you to take a hard look at the unconscious mind, while the Moon is pushing you to take a sensitive look at the conscious mind. Together, perhaps this alignment can help bring peace to your mind by getting your mind organized.

What would you like to categorize, analyze, or organize within your mind?

What would you like to manifest in your daily life?

What type of work would bring you emotional satisfaction?

Can you show yourself compassion for all the criticisms that exist within your conscious mind?

Take it easy on yourself. The harder you are on yourself mentally the harder things will be. The more compassion you show yourself, the more you will find mental peace.

The work is with compassion.

When: 8pm (4/29) – 2am (4/30) PDT

This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Gemini and Sagittarius.
