More major shifts are occurring this week, as Mercury, the planet of communication transits into Aries, and Venus, the planet of relationships transits into Taurus, the Sign it rules.
This, coupled with an elongated squaring of Mars and Neptune, and conjunction of Jupiter and Chiron, highlight the week. Lots more on how to navigate these transits in the days ahead.

MONDAY, March 13
Jupiter Conjunct Chiron in Aries
This is an aspect we have been monitoring since last week, so check back to #152 for more insight.
Jupiter is the god of thunder, lord of justice, the planet of luck and expansion.
Chiron is the wound and the ancient wisdom unlocked through healing that wound.
Aries is the Cardinal Fire sign symbolized by the Ram and ruled by Mars, the god of war, the planet of action, aggression and conflict.
Put these pieces together and you can see that expansion is occurring with regards to insecurities, or fears.
What are you afraid of?
Where do you feel most insecure in your life?
Where would you like to be more courageous?
In what way can you step forward more courageously towards your fears?
When: February 27 – March 18
This period could be challenging for those born with key astrological points or planets in Cancer and Capricorn.
TUESDAY, March 14
Mars in Gemini Square Neptune Retrograde in Pisces
Mars, the god of war, the planet of action, aggression and conflict Squares off with Neptune, the god of fresh water and the sea, the planet of illusion, deception, compassion, and intuition.
The squaring is due to Mars transiting through Gemini, which is Mutable Air, and Neptune transiting through Pisces, which is Mutable Water. Both are Mutable, so they make a strong alignment, but Air and Water don’t mix, which creates the conflict. These two planets are forming a 90° angle from each other, which is stressful.
Since Mars has taken seven months to transit due to its recent retrograde, this is the third time in recent history that Mars has squared off with Neptune.
Take a look at #131, where he highlighted this transit from October 10 – 14, and #136 where we highlighted this transit on November 18. This week we will be highlighting this transit three times this week, as the Sun joins the party tomorrow, followed by Mercury on Thursday.
The key takeaway right now is to slow down. Refrain from assumptions. Your intuition could be clouded, so ask questions, and gather information before diving into the abyss.

Jupiter Conjunct Chiron in Aries
What makes the previous alignment even more difficult is the conjunction between Jupiter and Chiron in Aries.
If you find your mind spinning out of control, hone in on the fear.
Where do these fears stem from within the depths of your mind?
Are they based in fact, in reality?
The demons you may be attempting to face could be formless, because they only exist within your mind.
If what torments you exists within, remind yourself that you are the master of your domain. You are the master of your mind.
Allow these thoughts to flow through you.
The more you engage with them, the more power they have.
If the thought is something that brings up fear, follow that thought to the origins of its inception. It is in this place where the issue must be addressed.
For example, whatever is causing you fear right now most likely stems from an experience you had as a child where you experienced trauma. This trauma has now followed and shaped your present experiences.
The fears that were planted in the past were valid because you were a child, however now you are an adult.
Remind yourself that you survived that trauma, and are still here today.
Had you been an adult in that situation of the past that haunts you, the outcome would be different. Just as today, the outcome will be different.
Stand up for yourself as an adult in the way you wished you could have stood up for yourself as a child.

WEDNESDAY, March 15
The Sun Conjunct Neptune Retrograde in Pisces Square Mars in Gemini
With confusion and communication comes an illumination to the illusion, as the Sun forms a conjunction with Neptune, and a square with Mars.
The Sun is the planet of light, life, and vitality, wherever the Sun goes it brings light, life, and vitality. As the Sun transits through Pisces, which is ruled by Neptune, it brings light, life, and vitality to dream, your unconsciousness.
What are you most confused about in life right now?
What action must you take, but are unsure of which way to go?
Are you making assumptions about anything in life?
Are these assumptions tormenting your mind?
What can you do to show yourself compassion by focusing on the facts of the matter?
Refrain from making any sudden moves during the middle of the week.
Sudden moves based on intuition may lead you down the very road you wish not to travel.
Stay still. Face your fears within.
Eventually the clouds will part, and you will be able to see the reality of the situation, which may not be nearly as bad as your intuition was telling you it would be.
When: Mars is Squaring Neptune from March 9 – 19. The Sun is Conjunct Neptune and Squaring Mars from March 14 – 19.

Mars Exits its Retrograde Shadow in Gemini
Part of what has caused so much confusion over the past several months has been due to Mars moving direct and retrograde and direct again in Gemini.
This frequency finally will find some relief as Mars exits its retrograde shadow today.
Hopefully, as Mars finally moves beyond its retrograde shadow you will finally receive the clarity you have been searching for. That being said, however, there may also still be some confusion with the squaring of the Sun and Neptune, as indicated above. Perhaps, then, however, now the best use of this energy is to reflect on the progress you have made, or how things in your lift have shifted since Mars first entered its retrograde shadow on September 3, 2022.
The key dates of the retrograde are listed below. Think back to what has shifted in your life since then. Perhaps connecting the dots will give you the insight you need to make peace with the past and move forward.

THURSDAY, March 16
Venus in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn
With all the confusion brought about by the Mars and Neptune square, and the insecurities brought about by the conjunction with Jupiter and Chiron in Aries, things could be coming to a head with relationships.
Something's got to give.
Something must change.
Something must shift.
Pluto is the god of death, lord of the underworld, the planet of transformation.
Venus is the goddess of love and beauty, the planet of relationships.
The squaring is due to Venus transiting through Aries, which is Cardinal Fire, and Pluto transiting through Capricorn, which is Cardinal Earth. Both are Cardinal, so they make a strong alignment, but Fire scorches Earth, and Earth extinguishes Fire, which creates conflict. These two planets are forming a 90° angle from each other, which is stressful.

Are you holding your partner accountable for what they have agreed to deliver to your relationship?

Right after Venus squares off with Pluto it grounds into the Fixed Earth Sign, symbolized by the Bull, and ruled by Venus, Taurus.
The themes of Taurus are values and self-worth based on the five physical senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch.
In order to solidify and secure what you value, you must face your fears and take responsibility for yourself, as directed by the previous alignment.

Mercury Conjunct Neptune Retrograde in Pisces Square Mars in Gemini
On Tuesday we highlighted the square between Mars in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces.
Yesterday we highlighted that same alignment with the addition of the Sun in Pisces.
Today, we bring Mercury, the messenger of the god, guide of Souls to the underworld, the planet of consciousness, communication, and coordination into the mix.
Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini, the sign which Mars is transiting through.
What questions can you ask to bring clarity to the confusion?
How can you be a better listener, not only with others, but with your own thoughts?
Can you be compassionate in your questioning?
In what ways would you like to manifest putting your thoughts into words, and your words into action?
What can you do to be more compassionate with your thoughts, words, and actions?
Continue to take time listening and reflecting rather than impulsively acting.

FRIDAY, March 17
Venus in Taurus Sextile Saturn in Pisces
Saturn, the god of wealth and time, the planet of restriction, responsibility, hard work, achievement, and authority.
Saturn’s transit through Pisces has certainly shifted the energy since it moved into the Sign of the Fish back on Tuesday, March 7, the day of the Full Moon in Virgo.
At least this has been the case from my perspective and from the many that I have spoken to since then.
People are feeling scattered, floating, or ungrounded, as we collectively shift into this dreamy new frequency. To learn more about Saturn in Pisces refer back to last week’s post #152.
Bringing Venus into contact with Saturn is urging you to hold yourself accountable in your close personal relationships.
What would you like to manifest in your relationships?
In what way are your manifestations in accordance with your values?
Are you willing to hold yourself accountable for bringing these manifestations into reality?
Are you able to be empathetic to your partners?
Can you hold your partners accountable to be empathetic to you?
Are you willing to commit to having faith in your relationships?
Is your faith grounded in the reality that there is a mutual respect to self-worth within these partnerships?

SATURDAY, March 18
Mercury in Aries
The messenger of the gods begins transit in the Sign of the Ram, which means get ready to get punched in the mouth. On the contrary, perhaps you may be the one punching others in the mouth, with your words, of course.
The bottom line here is there will be a little more fire, or conflicts with communication. The reason that communication may be sharper than normal is because you are being pushed to speak courageously, authentically.
If you have been holding back about how you really feel about things, or about what you really think, this is the time when your thoughts may feel like a smack across the face because it is so different from what you have been showing recently.
If you have been authentic in sharing your thoughts then this could feel like a period where you are being rewarded for speaking up, or speaking out.
The key to navigating this transit is to not hold back. Be forewarned that by not holding back you may initiate some conflicts, but these conflicts are necessary to shift the stagnant energy that must be moved in order to progress.
Remember that Aries is the Sign of courage, and at the root of courage is love. Be emboldened by this love. On the other side of this coin is fear.

What this means is that it is time to stabilize, solidify, and ground your unconscious emotions into reality.
How can you hold yourself accountable to show yourself compassion?
Are you willing to take responsibility to be empathetic to the feelings of others?
Are you willing to take responsibility to have faith that all of what is occurring is in your highest good?
It is not always easy to have faith, especially when things feel like they are going wrong.
It is important to remember, however, that the times when things are going wrong, is when it is most important to have faith.
