MONDAY, May 1
The Sun Conjunct Mercury Retrograde in Taurus
The Sun crosses paths with Mercury, as Mercury retrogrades through Taurus.
The Sun is the giver of light, life, and vitality.
Mercury is the messenger of the gods, guide of souls to the underworld, the planet of consciousness, communication, and coordination.
Taurus is the Fixed Earth Sign symbolized by the Bull.
The last time these two heavenly bodies crossed paths was on March 17. They were both moving the same direction, and were in Mutable Water Sign of Pisces.
This time the Sun is moving forwards, while Mercury is moving backwards.
Mercury won’t catch up to the Sun until June 30, when they’re in Cardinal Water Sign of Cancer.
When the Sun aligns with Mercury it brings light, life, and vitality to the mental process, your conscious awareness, and your ability to communicate.
With both the Sun and Mercury transiting through Taurus, the mental focus is on your self-worth, what you value, your likes, and dislikes.

Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius
Pluto is the god of death, lord of the underworld, the planet of transformation.
Aquarius is the Fixed Air Sign symbolized by the Water Bearer.
It takes Pluto 248-years to transit through the zodiac. Therefore, when Pluto retrogrades, it is for a much longer time than Mercury.
Though Mercury retrogrades three to four times a year. Pluto only retrogrades for once a year, but for much longer than Mercury.
Pluto will be retrograde for over five months, almost half the year, and it takes Pluto over a year to transit beyond its retrograde shadow.
On June 11, Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn.
This is the first of two times Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn, before settling into Aquarius until 2043.
This journey back into Capricorn will be the longest of the two.
How has your relationship to the community, or group context transformed over the last month that Pluto has been in Aquarius?
When Pluto returns to Capricorn, reflect on how your relationship to authority has transformed since 2008.
Change takes time, and the slow retrograde transit of Pluto, the planet of transformation, allows these changes to be thorough.

The Moon in Libra Trine Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius
The Moon is the planet of emotions.

This is the second time the Moon in Libra has formed a Trine with Pluto in Aquarius, since Pluto arrived in the sign of the Water Bearer in late March.

Venus in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces
Venus is lady luck, the goddess of love, and beauty, the planet of relationships.
Neptune is the god of freshwater, and the sea, the planet of deception, compassion, intuition, and dreams.
Gemini is the Mutable Air Sign symbolized by the Twins.
Pisces is the Mutable Water Sign symbolized by the Fish, and ruled by Neptune.
Both Mutable, they make a strong connection with each other, but Air and Water don’t mix, which creates tension.
The alignment between Venus and Neptune could cause some confusion in the areas of relationships.
